Le fil de l’Espoir #21: “India and Nepal: new programs for ever greater impact”.
Growing hope, together
On the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day, we would like to pay tribute to those who, despite the hardships, continue to bring life and hope. In Afghanistan, at the Mother and Child Hospital and the Children’s Pavilion in Kabul, La Chaîne de l’Espoir is stepping up its action to guarantee access to healthcare for mothers and women, in a context where their fundamental rights are threatened every day.
This determination to act where needs are greatest drives us every day. It leads us to mobilize our teams and partners to provide sick children with the care they need, as close to home as possible.
We also take you to the bedsides of hospitalized children in France, accompanied by our sun godparents. Through their dedication, these volunteers bring much-needed comfort to isolated young patients, offering them moments of happiness despite the anguish of care.
As Mayotte struggles to recover from the devastating passage of cyclone Chido, La Chaîne de l’Espoir is mobilizing to assess needs and provide support to the most vulnerable populations. Your generosity is enabling us to act quickly and strengthen our chain of solidarity in the face of this crisis.
This issue also highlights the impact of our actions: a detailed dossier looks at our programs and their concrete results in several countries. Finally, take a trip to Benin to discover our itinerant pediatric surgery missions and learn more about the expansion of our echoes® program, which revolutionizes access to diagnosis thanks to tele-ultrasound.
To all our supporters, a huge thank you. Every gesture, every donation, every smile contributes to weaving this thread of hope. Together, let’s continue to act to transform lives and reverse the injustice of place of birth.
