Programs

At La Chaîne de l'Espoir, our Programs Department is the cornerstone of our humanitarian initiatives. Our mission? To design, coordinate and implement programs that make a lasting difference to the lives of children in our host countries, while working closely with institutional partners to amplify our impact.

Mission Manager

The Chef de Mission leads our teams in the field, coordinating operations and managing relations with local partners. He is responsible for the team’s safety and well-being, and proposes regional strategies adapted to the geopolitical and humanitarian context.

As head of mission, he mobilizes the necessary material and financial resources and supervises program management.

Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator oversees the planning and execution of our projects in the field. Working closely with local teams and partners, they ensure that objectives are met. This professional analyzes needs, drafts proposals and manages resources to maximize the impact of each program.

For example, our Africa Program Coordinator has relaunched a program for the prevention, detection and management of maxillofacial pathologies, including Noma, in Sub-Saharan Africa, in collaboration with various local and medical players.

“My source of motivation is multiple: the quality and relevance of our intervention programs, the commitment and dynamism of our local team, as well as the newfound smiles on the faces of healed children and their families.”

Manager Institutional Financing

The Institutional Funding Manager develops and maintains relationships with donors and institutional partners. He/she drafts funding proposals, monitors grants and ensures that reports comply with donor requirements. In liaison with country offices, he/she mobilizes resources, tools and expertise to support missions and partnership development.

Thanks to the efforts of our head of institutional financing, we have obtained substantial funding from the AFD over three years to develop our school health project for the community of 16 schools in Lomé, Togo.
