The theme of Food Day 2024 is: the right to food for a better life and future.

For a significant proportion of the world’s population, access to a diversified and affordable diet remains limited, forcing the most vulnerable to consume cheaper, often inferior or harmful foods. Conflicts and and economic crises disrupt food systems and make access to food even more difficult. Leople made vulnerable bya poverty are forced to cheap food to the detriment of nutritional quality. This situation exacerbates malnutrition problems, leading to chronic disease and nutritional deficiencies.
