Course de l’Espoir in Togo

Students at the Arc-en-Ciel international school in Lomé, Togo, recently got involved with La Chaîne de l’Espoir to raise funds to continue saving children through a project called “Course de l’espoir”.
Unlike previous editions, which raised small amounts for La Chaîne de l’Espoir activities, this edition mobilized other international schools in Lomé.
The event took place on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at a sports venue in the Togolese capital, where around 100 children ran and took turns to raise funds.
1,380 euros raised to save Togolese children
In total, a sum of 906,300 FCFA or 1,380 euros was raised by the school’s students to help save Togolese children through pediatric surgery missions organized by La Chaîne de l’Espoir. The cheque was presented to La Chaîne de l’Espoir at a solemn event on June 7, 2016 on the Arc-en-Ciel school grounds.
The event was a complete success, thanks to the high level of student participation and, above all, a renewed commitment to the cause of Togolese children in the years to come.
In recognition of this commitment, La Chaîne de l’Espoir awarded a certificate of recognition to each of the 7 members of the organizing committee.
