Our 2024 face-to-face campaign !
In 2024, La Chaîne de l’Espoir is carrying out face-to-face campaigns with the aim of publicizing its actions and collecting donations to save children. We tell you all about it!
1) What is face-to-face?
Face-to-face is a collection method used on the street, door-to-door or in shopping malls. It aims to raise public awareness of our actions, and to encourage people we meet to support us over the long term by direct debit.
2) How does our face-to-face campaign work?
Throughout the year, teams commissioned by our association are present in various French towns, explaining the missions of La Chaîne de l’Espoir and inviting the people they meet to support our cause.
If you’d like to support our actions, fill in a support form (on a touch-screen tablet or by phone via the databyte platform) and make a monthly donation. They then share their bank details (RIB) so that the direct debit can be set up. Thanks to the electronic signature, a copy of the direct debit mandate is automatically sent by email or SMS. In the following days, the person contacted will receive a telephone call to thank them for their commitment, confirm their contact details and check that the regular donation has been properly understood.
As soon as the person wishes to become a regular donor, the mandated teams can, with their agreement, hand-deliver a welcome envelope containing :
- A letter of welcome,
- Le Fil de l’Espoir magazine,
- A bookmark,
- A window sticker,
- One leaflet.
3) How can I identify La Chaîne de l’Espoir’s face-to-face teams?
Teams wear a badge bearing the association’s name and the colors of La Chaîne de l’Espoir: orange vests with the association’s logo.
If you have any doubts about the identity of our teams, don’t hesitate to call Donor Relations on 01 44 12 66 49. They will be able to confirm the identity of the recruiters.
4) When are our face-to-face teams available?
Our teams will be active from Monday to Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (door-to-door until 8:30 p.m.).
5) Can our teams collect cash?
No, our teams never ask for cash or checks. This is strictly forbidden.
6) Are town halls and prefectures aware of our campaign?
Yes, prior to each campaign, we send an email to town halls and/or prefectures declaring our presence on the public highway. The period and number of days of presence are specified.
7) Is it dangerous to give out my bank details?
No, there is no risk of fraud when you give your bank details via a RIB.
It is in fact impossible to debit an account from one individual to another with a single RIB.
It is only possible to :
- Credit an account.
- To debit an account within the framework of a SEPA direct debit mandate in favor of the organization mentioned on the mandate by a creditor number. The La Chaîne de l’Espoir creditor number appears on all support forms.
8) How do I cancel my donation?
You can cancel your donation at any time by sending an e-mail to donateurs@chainedelespoir.org
or by contacting the Donor Relations Department by telephone on 01 44 12 66 49.
