Mobilization scores points in Réquista

For the past six years, the pétanque tournament organized in Réquista has brought together 34 doublets in a convivial atmosphere. Open to all generations, the charity event donates all proceeds to the association.

An intergenerational tournament to benefit La Chaîne de l’Espoir

Over the past six years, this event has become a must in Réquista, in the heart of the Aveyron region. Last November, the local branch of La Chaîne de l’Espoir organized its annual pétanque tournament in partnership with the local club. This year, 34 doublettes competed in a friendly atmosphere.

The event is open to all generations and 100% charitable, with all proceeds from the competition and other activities (tombola, stand sales, etc.) going to the association.

For the 2023 event, we raised 1,035 euros,” says Alain Daures, head of the local branch. Which just goes to show how well mobilized our village of 2,000 inhabitants is!
