Choirs in Castres for La Chaîne de l’Espoir
To enchant hearts and support the actions of La Chaîne de l’Espoir, the Adara and Asphodèle choirs will voluntarily unite their voices in the church of St Pierre d’Avits on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 8:30pm.

A great turnout expected in Castres
The male trio Adara draws its repertoire from the musical tradition of the greater Occitanie region. These folk songs recount the daily lives of shepherds in the Pyrenees, farmers in Languedoc and workers in Rouergue.
Axel, a young Congolese priest, will pay tribute in his own way to La Chaîne de l’Espoir by singing Claudio Capéo’s song “Ta main”. Thanks to La Chaîne de l’Espoir, Jaëlle, his little sister, has been able to receive treatment in France, as have other children such as Herwane and Alex. She is now living in her country, happy to finally be like all the other children her age.
The Asphodèle choir is a group of men with a passion for singing. They come from the four corners of the region: Castres, Mazamet, Labruguière. Their repertoire is varied and wide-ranging, from Basque songs to classical arias, and from modern to more traditional songs.
Each and every one of us can be a small link in the chain of solidarity that is La Chaîne de l’Espoir. Any donation, no matter how small, can help a child to smile again.
We’re counting on all of you to make this an evening filled with joy, good humor and Hope. Join us on March 23 at 8:30pm in the church of St Pierre d’Avits.
