La Brosserie Française supports La Chaîne de l’Espoir
Heir to the Fabrique de Brosses à dents founded in 1845 by Alphonse Dupont in Beauvais, La Brosserie Française was relocated in 2012 to the town in the Oise département of the Hauts-de-France region, following the buyout of DuoPole by Olivier Remoissonnet, Xavier Bougle and Olivier Voisin.
The French company’s core values include respect for people and the environment. Its employees benefit from training programs, clean and short supply chains are favored for raw materials, and its factory is powered by renewable hydraulic energy. From sustainable development to international solidarity, there’s just one step that the French company has taken in support of our association.
In a context deeply marked by the COVID-19 pandemic, La Brosserie Française has decided to support La Chaîne de l’Espoir and its actions in favor of the most vulnerable in Côte d’Ivoire with a donation of over 8,000 toothbrushes.
La Chaîne de l’Espoir immediately decided to donate the hygiene utensils to the Hôpital Mère-Enfant in Bingerville.
With a capacity of 130 beds, this health facility offers a range of medical services (consultations, family planning advice, prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, medical and surgical emergencies for mother and child, pregnancy, childbirth, medical pediatrics, gynecology, etc.). It also benefits from the support of La Chaîne de l’Espoir, which assists local medical and paramedical teams, as well as midwives, and finances the training of students for the Diplôme d’Études Spécialisées in pediatric surgery.
In a letter addressed to La Brosserie Française, Hachim Diop, General Manager of the Hôpital Mère-Enfant de Bingerville, expressed his “deep gratitude” for the donation of toothbrushes, which he said would help “reinforce [son] our work with the most disadvantaged”.
