Ukraine: equipment for frontline hospitals

Since 2022, La Chaîne de l'Espoir has been supporting Ukrainian hospitals on the front line. Between 7 and 8 tons of medical equipment were delivered in 2024 to the Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions to strengthen healthcare capacities.

Since the outbreak of war in February 2022, La Chaîne de l’Espoir has been working alongside healthcare professionals in Ukraine. Ukraine to meet the urgent need for medical supplies.

In the second half of 2024, a ton of trauma equipment was shipped to three hospitals in the Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions to facilitate the management of complex injuries.

At the same time, 6.8 tonnes of biomedical equipment were delivered to 15 hospitals in the Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions, with the support of the Crisis and Support Center (CDCS) of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.

In the second half of 2024, one ton of trauma equipment was shipped to three hospitals in the Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions.

Intended for surgical, intensive care and intensive care (including neonatal) departments, this equipment includes cutting-edge devices for surgical management, medical imaging, skin grafting, patient monitoring and
sterilization.
