A fruitful South-South collaboration

The South-South missions set up by La Chaîne de l’Espoir aim to empower local medical and paramedical teams over the long term.

Thanks to the commitment of the teams and this new collaboration, the progress of local medical staff is constantly improving.

Thanks to La Chaîne de l’Espoir and its commitment to increasing cooperation between developing countries, local teams will be able to carry out cardiac surgery themselves, thanks to the training they receive beforehand.

During this mission, we simultaneously carried out a skills-building mission in the biomedical field, as well as a supervisory mission in the hospitalization department.
