12/12/19 – Help us save Nitha
Nitha is a 5-year-old girl who lives with her parents in a village in the province of Takéo, Cambodia.
Since birth, she has suffered from 2 complex cardiac pathologies. An atrial septal defect, which mixes blood in the right side of her heart, and an interventricular septal defect, which dilates the left side. These 2 communications are abnormal and cause both an increase in the heart’s workload and an increase in blood flow to the lungs, making Nitha’s health more fragile.
NITHA NEEDS EMERGENCY SURGERY
Nitha is very short of breath because of these two malformations and has lost weight in just a few months. Only open-heart surgery can save her. The operation, although delicate, is possible at the Calmette hospital in Phnom Penh, 2h30 from her home.
TOGETHER, LET’S GIVE HOPE TO AN ENTIRE FAMILY
Nitha’s father is a cook and her mother is a housewife. Their income does not allow them to send their daughter to school.
How can they finance the operation she so desperately needs? Her parents want more than anything to see their daughter recover, continue to grow, have fun and live. To achieve this, they need our help to finance the operation and Nitha’s medical follow-up.
With your support, this little Cambodian girl can be saved. Spread hope for Nitha and her family.
