News from Kenjo

You’ve all been touched by Kenjo, the little Cameroonian boy whose face was badly burned following a domestic accident with a kerosene lamp.
Kenjo had his lower face completely welded to his rib cage and could no longer move his head or close his mouth. Thanks to your donations, he was able to be transferred to Toulouse during the summer of 2018.
He was brave
The little boy underwent two major operations, following which he had to live in a nursing home, be fed via a tube and wear a brace to support his neck, head and back and allow healing.
Kenjo was very brave and was able to join a host family afterwards. He integrated easily: he spent Christmas in France, went to school and shared unforgettable moments with the family’s three children, who became his best friends.
In January, Kenjo returned to Cameroon, where he was reunited with his family with a completely new face. Nevertheless, he is expected back in France next year for his medical check-up.
Thank you for putting her out of her misery!
