08/09/2021 – Jérémy’s rebirth lifts our spirits

In the anonymity of a small town in Congo-Brazzaville, the days were numbered for little Jérémy, from a particularly poor family.

Aged 2, he had been suffering from ventricular septal defect since birth. This is a heart defect that causes an accumulation of blood in the lungs. This condition was hindering his growth and threatening his life. But we didn’t count on your tremendous mobilization and our chain of solidarity.

Successfully operated on at the CHU in Tours by one of our volunteer medical teams, the little boy is now fully recovered and able to return home. According to his host family, this enthusiastic child is very advanced for his age and can now grow up normally, with a new lease on life.

We can’t thank you enough for the solidarity you have shown towards him.

04/01/2021 – Help us save Jérémy

Little Jérémy lives in Congo-Brazzaville.

LITTLE JÉRÉMY IS OUT OF BREATH

At the age of 2, the young boy was born with a VSD: ventricular septal defect. This is a heart defect in which the wall separating the 2 ventricles is not watertight. This faulty closure of the septum leads to abnormal blood flow, flooding Jeremy’s lungs, exhausting him, hindering his growth and, above all, threatening his life.

SOLIDARITY IS THE ONLY WAY JÉRÉMY’S FAMILY CAN SURVIVE

The only child in the family, his parents are unemployed. Family solidarity enables them to live… on less than €200 a month. Under such conditions, it is impossible for them to finance the invaluable operation that would allow Jérémy to continue to grow and live. It’s a situation that leaves this family in total disarray.

AT CHU DE TOURS, A TEAM IS READY TO OPERATE ON JÉRÉMY

But you can offer Jérémy this surgery. At the CHU in Tours, a medical team is able to operate on him, and a foster family is ready to take him in. The only thing keeping little Jeremy from his new life is the cost. Together, we need to raise €7,000.

Become a link in this chain of solidarity and give Jérémy a new lease on life!
