La Chaîne de l’Espoir was still in its infancy when Istvan, isolated in the misery of an orphanage in Romania, was spotted by our teams.
Suffering from severe congenital malformations, he was taken to France for several life-saving operations.
It was at this time that a special bond was forged between La Chaîne de l’Espoir and Istvan, now the association’s IT technician trainee and, in turn, one of its essential links.
