Héry: from blue disease tohope
Yesterday condemned, Héry, an eight-year-old Malagasy boy, now sees a new life opening up to him!
Suffering from Tetralogy of Fallot, a serious heart condition better known as ” blue disease “, Héry was becoming more exhausted by the day.
It was impossible for him to wait for the CENHOSOA operating theater to open for surgery. Transferred and operated on at the CHU de La Réunion, he was able to undergo life-saving open-heart surgery.
Thank you for being there for little Héry by responding to our call for action!
“Before, Héry had to squat at the slightest effort to catch his breath. After the operation, I was the first to run out of breath when we went for walks together. The before-and-after effect has been dazzling, it’s fantastic.”
