Christian is cured!

Christian’s life changed at the age of four. Just a few weeks ago, this young Burkinabé, living in the north of the country, could hardly breathe.
The cause is a very serious congenital heart disease: Tetralogy of Fallot.
Today, he’s dynamic, playing with his friends and gaining weight! This fantastic transformation was made possible by a highly complex open-heart operation carried out during a surgical mission at the Tengandogo University Hospital in the capital Ouagadougou. The mission was led by Dr Paul Neville, pediatric cardiac surgeon at the CHRU de Tours, accompanied by Dr Adama Sawadogo and his local team trained by La Chaîne de l’Espoir.
Thank you for responding to our call for mobilization!
“Every two months, we make follow-up visits. But today, Christian is much better. He’s full of energy. We’re delighted!”
