As organizer of this event, the municipality of Saint-Gervais has chosen to support our association and our work in Vietnam to help children suffering from heart disease.

Strong links between La Chaîne de l’Espoir and Saint-Gervais

Over the years, La Chaîne de l’Espoir and the commune of Saint-Gervais have forged strong, lasting ties. These ties are embodied in the person of Pr Alain Deloche, founder of La Chaîne de l’Espoir, who will be present at the Mont-Blanc Humor Festival in Saint-Gervais on March 22 and 23, 2022.

Festival Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc d’Humour: a 2022 edition under the sign of solidarity

After a week of shows, laughter and good humor, the 38th edition of the Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc Humor Festival came to a close on March 25, 2022.

Chaired by Lionel Canon, this year’s festival once again saw the crowning of young comedians. In the Montjoie theater in Saint-Gervais, the jury, comprising Chantal Ladesou, Noom Diawara, Sandrine Alexi, Michaël Grégorio, Ben and Nathalie Deschamps, rewarded the following artists:

  • Candiie was awarded the Coup de Coeur prize,
  • Félix Dhjan won the Audience Award and the Henri Salvador Prize.

The festival, which is one of the most renowned in France, was also placed under the sign of solidarity. Indeed, the municipality of Saint-Gervais and its mayor Jean-Marc Peillex decided to support La Chaîne de l’Espoir, and more specifically our program deployed in Vietnam to provide medical care for children suffering from heart disease. As a result, all proceeds from public admissions to the local ice rink were donated to our association.

Last but not least, Pr Alain Deloche, eminent heart surgeon and of course founder of La Chaîne de l’Espoir, was honored by the municipality of Saint-Gervais. A regular visitor to the Val Montjoie commune, he was awarded the town’s “Citoyen d’Honneur” medal on Tuesday March 22. The award, minted by the Monnaie de Paris, was presented by Jean-Marc Peillex in the presence of Jean-Louis Debré, former Minister, President of the French National Assembly and President of the Constitutional Council, who was also honored that day.
