Our face-to-face campaign in 2023
1) WHAT IS FACE-TO-FACE?
Face-to-face is a street collection method designed to raise public awareness of our actions, and encourage passers-by to support us over the long term.
They can then become regular donors by direct debit.
2) HOW DOES OUR FACE-TO-FACE CAMPAIGN WORK?
From February to April 2023, teams commissioned by our association will be on the streets and in shopping malls in Paris and the Île-de-France region, explaining the missions of La Chaîne de l’Espoir and offering to support our cause.
If you wish to support our actions, you can fill in a support form (on a touch-screen tablet) and make a monthly donation. They then share their bank details (RIB) so that the direct debit can be set up. Thanks to the electronic signature, a copy of the direct debit mandate is automatically sent by email or SMS. In the following days, the person contacted will receive a telephone call to thank them for their commitment, confirm their contact details and check that they understand the regular donation.
Once the person has decided to become a regular donor, the teams will hand-deliver a welcome envelope containing :
- a welcome letter,
- Le Fil de l’Espoir magazine,
- a bookmark,
- a window sticker,
- a leaflet.
3) HOW TO IDENTIFY THE FACE-TO-FACE TEAMS IN THE CHAIN OF HOPE?
Teams weara badge bearing the association’s name and the colors of La Chaîne de l’Espoir: t-shirt or orange k-way, depending on the season, with the association’s logo.
If you have any doubts about the identity of our teams, don’t hesitate to call Donor Relations on 01 44 12 66 49. They will be able to confirm the identity of the recruiters.
4) WHEN ARE OUR FACE-TO-FACE TEAMS AVAILABLE?
Our teams will be active from Monday to Saturday, from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm.
5) CAN OUR TEAMS COLLECT CASH?
No, our teams never ask for cash or checks. This is strictly forbidden.
6) ARE TOWN HALLS AND PREFECTURES INFORMED OF OUR CAMPAIGN?
Yes, prior to each campaign, we send an email to town halls and/or prefectures declaring our presence on the public highway. The period and number of days of presence are specified.
7) IS IT DANGEROUS TO SHARE MY RIBBON?
No, there is no risk of fraud when you give your bank details via a RIB.
It is in fact impossible to debit an account from one individual to another with a single RIB.
It is only possible to :
- credit an account.
- debit an account within the framework of a SEPA direct debit mandate in favor of the organization mentioned on the mandate by a creditor number. La Chaîne de l’Espoir’s creditor number appears on all support forms.
8) HOW DO I CANCEL MY DONATION?
You can cancel your donation by sending an email to: donateurs@chainedelespoir.org
