For this new Course de l’Espoir, each participant was issued with a race number and a badge featuring a QR Code. The aim was to count the number of laps completed. Each lap was used to collect money.
Encouraged during the 2-hour run by their parents and members of the La Chaîne de l’Espoir office in Togo, the students managed to raise a total of 3,363,263 FCFA, or 3,600 euros. And on March 6, a cheque was presented to our association.
Many thanks to the students and their parents for their commitment!
This wonderful event will contribute to the care of sick children during the itinerant pediatric surgery mission planned for July in Tchamba, a small town some 400 km from Lomé.
