IMFE is the first hospital in Afghanistan to receive SafeCare level 5 certification.
This accreditation received by theInstitut Médical Français pour la Mère et l’Enfant (IMFE) is all the more remarkable in view of the country’s current operational difficulties (economic crisis, sanctions, departure of many qualified personnel, etc.).
SafeCare is a methodology with internationally accredited standards, aimed at improving the quality of care in low- and middle-income countries. Level 5 status is awarded to facilities that demonstrate high quality standards.
