Our answers to your questions

How do I get my tax receipt?

The tax receipt for all your donations for the current year is sent by post or email in the 1st quarter of the following year: just in time to include it in your tax return.

You will receive a single tax receipt for all your donations made in 2024, in the 1st quarter of 2025.

You can also download it from your Donors’ Area.

If you misplace your tax receipt and are unable to download it from your donor space, you can request a duplicate from Donor Relations:
By telephone: 01 44 12 66 49
By email: donateurs@chainedelespoir.org

How do I declare my donations to La Chaîne de l’Espoir and what tax reduction do I get?

In application of the “Coluche law” – donations made to La Chaîne de l’Espoir entitle you to a tax reduction of 75% up to a maximum of €1,000.
If your donation exceeds this amount, it gives rise to a 66% tax reduction.

  • A donation of €70 really only costs you €17 after tax reduction.
  • A donation of €150 really only costs you €37.50 after tax reduction.

To benefit from the tax reduction of 75% of the amount of your donation, you must enter the amount in the “7UD – Dons versés à des organismes d’aide aux personnes en difficulté” section of your tax return.
You do not need to attach the tax receipt to your tax return, but simply keep it in case your tax office carries out an audit.
Thank you for your unfailing commitment! Your donations are essential for the children: THANK YOU!
