Nos réponses à vos questions

Our answers to your questions

Can I visit the rescued children?

For obvious reasons concerning the privacy of children who come to France to undergo surgery for extremely serious pathologies, it is not possible to visit them.

If you would like to receive news of a child who has been saved, you can contact us, subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on social networks.

Do you have branches in France?

La Chaîne de l’Espoir has 14 branches throughout France, each with a team of around 100 volunteers. Throughout the year, they organize solidarity and fundraising events, and develop local partnerships with companies, town halls and local authorities.

What does La Chaîne de l’Espoir do?

We operate in 26 countries, using a global approach that focuses not only on children, but also on mothers and disadvantaged communities:

  • Care and surgery, to meet the most urgent needs of children and mothers in France or abroad, when they have no access to technical and financial resources in their home countries.
  • Training and skills transfer to local teams thanks to our international network of medical experts.
  • Building and equipping hospitals in countries where health structures are inadequate.
  • Prevention and screening from an early age, notably through school health programs.
