Did you know that by donating to the Fondation Alain Deloche, you can give meaning to your IFI? Reducing your IFI through a donation transforms it into a gesture of solidarity. Thanks to you, the Fondation Alain Deloche can pursue its goal of helping children in need.
Every day around the world, 15,000 children die before their 5ᵉ birthday. Since 1994, La Chaîne de l’Espoir has been working to help disadvantaged children. By supporting us, you enable us to expand our financial resources and plan long-term projects. Your IFI donation will be used for the construction, operation and care of children in the Pavillons des Enfants created by La Chaîne de l’Espoir.
To combat infant mortality, you can join forces with the Fondation Alain Deloche. By financing the operation of the Pavillons des Enfants, you can provide underprivileged children with high-quality medical and social care. Since 2003, more than 15,000 sick children from underprivileged families have been cared for in one of our 4 Pavillons des Enfants.
What is the IFI?
Since January 1, 2018, the IFI or Impôt sur la Fortune Immobilière has replaced the Impôt de Solidarité sur la Fortune (ISF). The IFI limits the tax to real estate assets only and is applicable to assets with a net taxable value equal to or greater than 800,001 euros as of January 1, 2023. The tax rate varies according to the IFI bracket table.
Formerly, the ISF-PME scheme reduced the IFI by 50%. Today, while it is not possible to reduce the IFI by investing in an SME, there are nevertheless tax advantages: you can reduce your Impôt sur la Fortune Immobilière by making a donation to certain organizations, including the Fondation Alain Deloche.
How can I make a donation to the Fondation Alain Deloche?
- Online: make your donation by bank transfer or credit card by clicking here.
- By cheque: send us your cheque made payable to “Fondation pour l’Enfance – Fondation Alain Deloche” by post to La Chaîne de l’Espoir -56 rue des Morillons – CS 17938 – 75730 PARIS CEDEX 15.
You can also hand in your donation from 9.30am to 1pm and from 2.30pm to 5pm at the association’s head office: 56 rue des Morillons – 75 015 PARIS – donor relations department.
Your tax receipt will be sent to you by La Fondation pour l’Enfance.
Developing access to healthcare for children through school health services
If you are subject to the IFI, it is possible to benefit from tax relief. The only way to obtain a reduction in the Impôt sur la Fortune Immobilière (IFI) is to make a donation to a specific organization, known as a ” donation tax exemption “.
Article 200 of the French General Tax Code (CGI) names the beneficiary organizations:
- Non-profit research, higher education or artistic establishments of general interest.
- Public interest foundations;
The Fondation Alain Deloche is one of them.
Worldwide, the mortality rate for children under 5 in rural areas is 50% higher than in urban areas.
Illness and convalescence are difficult times for a child, and require family support. In rural areas, too many families still do not have the financial means to find accommodation in the city close to the hospital.
Because the lives of these children matter, the Fondation Alain Deloche finances the construction, fitting out and running of Pavillons des Enfants, children’s homes located near partner hospitals and/or built by La Chaîne de l’Espoir.
Would you like to support the medical and social care of these children? You can reduce your IFI by making a donation to the Fondation Alain Deloche. The maximum reduction on donations is €66,667 per year.
You can therefore make an IFI donation up to the tax return deadline by filling in the IFI form n°2042. You will receive a tax receipt to confirm your donation.
By making a donation, you are taking concrete action for the health of children around the world.
