More and more users are turning to smartphone payment applications for instant, free transactions. It was therefore essential for La Chaîne de l’Espoir to opt for this option with Sumeria (formerly Lydia).
How do I make a donation via Sumeria?
- After opening the application, press the button on the right with the two arrows, then select “Make a Lydia”.
- Click on “Choose a recipient”, then on “Make a donation”.
- Finally, select “La Chaîne de L’Espoir” and indicate the amount of your donation.
Solidarity gift card: Strengthen your CSR approach!
Have you received a gift card to use online or in store? You can also spend your balance to make a donation to La Chaîne de l’Espoir. Sorewards is a dematerialized VISA gift card designed to reward users and beneficiaries worldwide. The amount on the card can be spent as a donation to one or more associations.
What to do?
- Go to the “Partner associations” page, where you’ll find La Chaîne de l’Espoir.
- Click on “Make a donation to La Chaîne de l’Espoir” and enter your gift card details.
- Your donation will go to our association
Donate while traveling
Plan your next destinations with Voyages So-Leader!
The cooperative of producers of ethical and charitable travel offers a solidarity-based approach by donating part of the cost of the trip to an association.
What to do?
- Book your trip on the So-Leader website.
- Select La Chaîne de l’Espoir as the beneficiary, and 10% of the amount of your reservation will be donated to our association.

Make a donation via microdon
You can make a micro-donation to La Chaîne de l’Espoir, either online or in stores. The micro-donation is a simple operation: when you pay for your purchases, you can add a percentage of the amount to be paid, a fixed amount or round up the amount.

Every last Friday in November, our partner LE PETIT VAPOTEUR organizes the “Black Fairday” fund-raising operation to provide financial support for several associations: 1 personal purchase = 1 donation.
For the past 3 years, La Chaîne de l’Espoir has been the lucky beneficiary of this day of solidarity: €48,178 was raised in 2022 and over €133,000 in 3 years.
In total, 38 children suffering from heart disease have been operated on and saved thanks to Le Petit Vapoteur and its customers.

- Rounding on basket / at checkout
When you check out or validate your shopping cart on an e-commerce site, you may be offered the opportunity toround up your total to make a donation to an association.
The aim of this micro-donation is to be accessible to all.
- Salary rounding
This method consists of offering company employees the opportunity to donate a portion of their salary to an association, with the company matching the donation.

Product sharing involves a company marketing a product or service, with part of the proceeds going to a non-profit organization.

This commitment to solidarity by the French cosmetics company, a partner of La Chaîne de l’Espoir since 2016, is reflected in the sale of a sharing product: CLARINS® Super Moisturizing Body Balm. And for every balm sold, 3 euros are donated to the beneficiary associations, including La Chaîne de l’Espoir.

- With Pharmavie
A long-standing partner of La Chaîne de l’Espoir, the PharmaVie Association has created a student challenge called “Opération Toudou” with the 11 pharmacy faculties in France. This operation involves selling teddy bears, the famous “Toudou”, to raise funds for La Chaîne de l’Espoir.

Make a donation in kind
A donation in kind is a non-financial contribution that can take the form of a good or a service.
The various forms of support that can be given to La Chaîne de l’Espoir :
- Medical equipment
Companies in the medical sector sometimes make in-kind donations to La Chaîne de l’Espoir in the form of medical equipment.
For example, Boston Scientific has donated medical equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac pathologies in 2021 and 2022, worth €13,514. - Share your knowledge through skills sponsorship
Skills sponsorship involves offering an association the expertise of an employee for a period of 6 months to 1 year, during which time the employee is paid by the company. During this period, the employee is paid by the company.
La Chaîne de l’Espoir has recruited an employee from the BNP Paribas group to support the development team in its fund-raising efforts. For example, one of his objectives is to find new companies to finance our various programs or develop sponsorship initiatives (events, product-sharing, micro-donations, etc.).
